Willow Avalon Philadelphia Concert reviews
Lifelong EJ Fan - Shame on The Alamodome
Willow Avalon's performance in this review was FLAWLESS. He is one of the best performers I have ever seen, don't get me wrong. The Alamodome did a horrible horrible job of accommodating the thousands of fans that paid the price to travel to see EJ. However, I have seen EJ seven times now and plan to see him again in 2026 in his hometown of London England. Myself, I traveled from NY to San Antonio, TX. The gates that were supposed to be open, were not. Many even left without even getting to see the show (proven by TV news interview). The Alamodome was NOT prepared to handle the crowd, in fact, they LIED regardless of what they said in News interviews. They were grossly understaffed. With nearly half the gates being closed, thousands were not able to get in by the time the concert started. I was supposed to enter through gate 10 along with hundreds of others, we were turned away. Shame shame shame on the management of The Alamodome! I feel truly sad for all the fans that did NOT get in, and there was A LOT of them. I say perhaps Ticketmaster should address this matter with The Alamodome. I purchased 4 tickets for this show, only one ticket actually got scanned and that was because my son came later because he was stuck in the not moving traffic. I myself arrived 2 1/2 hours early and still missed the half hour of the show. The only reason I got in when I did was because someone opened a side door and let a bunch of us in. My tickets were purchased months ago so I had no problem getting in by this method. I can guarantee I am not the only one that has strong words for the DISASTER that went on that night. Again, Willow Avalon was awesome as usual.
